Meghalaya Government Has Embarked On A Mission To Promote Entrepreneurship: CM Conrad K Sangma

Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma has said that a country’s or a state’s economy can be driven only with entrepreneurship and private sector.

“As a government, we believe that an economy of a nation, state can only be driven with entrepreneurship and private sector,” Conrad K Sangma said.

He made this statement while speaking at the PRIME MeghaPreneur Expo in Shillong on February 9.

“The government’s role is primarily to create the ecosystem, to provide the policies, incentives and infrastructure and a system for entrepreneurship to thrive,” the Meghalaya CM said.

“We have a clear-cut strategy, we have been stressing on entrepreneurship as the main driver and creator of employment in the state,” he added.
