Complete Fencing Of Indo-Myanmar Will Make Our Borders Foolproof: Pema Khandu
Commending the Central government’s decision, the Arunachal Pradesh CM termed it as a “great move in the right direction”.
He said that complete fencing of the Indo-Myanmar will “make our borders foolproof”. “A state-of-the-art surveillance will check the movement of unscrupulous elements,” said Pema Khandu.
Arunachal Pradesh shares a 520-kilometer-long border with Myanmar. The Indo-Myanmar border passes through the Northeastern states of Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on February 6 said that the Narendra Modi-led BJP government is ‘committed’ to build impenetrable borders.
