Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s three-day visit to the Northeastern states of Assam and Meghalaya commences on January 18.
Amit Shah Embarks On 3-Day Visit To Assam And Meghalaya
Amit Shah will inaugurate a cyber security operational centre at the Assam Rifles headquarters in Shillong, Meghalaya.
He will chair the 71st plenary session of the North Eastern Council (NEC) on January 19. Amit Shah will also review the operations of the North Eastern Space Applications Centre (NESAC).
The Union Home Minister will attend the 61st Raising Day celebrations of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) in Tezpur, Assam.
Further, he will attend the passing out parade of 2,551 Assam Police commandos at Sarusajai Stadium in Guwahati. Amit Shah will also inaugurate the Brahmaputra Riverfront beautification project in Guwahati before returning to Delhi.
