The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra led by senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on January 15 reached Zakhama in Nagaland.
Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra Kicked Off From Khongjom, Manipur
The Yatra was kicked off from Khongjom in Manipur on January 14. The Yatra on January 15 resumed from Sekmai in Imphal West district and reached Nagaland after passing two districts of Manipur, Kangangpokpi and Senapati on the National Highway-102 connecting Imphal to Dimapur.
During his brief halting at Kangpokpi, the former party president was accorded the submission of memoranda from different Kuki-Zo tribal leaders.
Interacting with the people on the NH-102, Rahul Gandhi assured them that the Congress stands with the people of Manipur and wants to restore peace and harmony at the earliest.
