Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will engage with the general public in Guwahati during ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’.
‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ Set To Begin From Manipur’s Thoubal On January 14
Rahul Gandhi’s interaction with the public in Guwahati will be held, most likely, on January 23. The interaction is aimed at gathering public opinion for the Congress manifesto for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
The public interaction will be primarily focused on issues faced by the people of Assam and the Northeast region in general.
‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ will begin from Manipur’s Thoubal on January 14 and will culminate in Mumbai on March 20. In Assam, the Yatra will traverse through over 880 kilometres, spanning across 17 districts in eight days.
Earlier, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma had said that the BJP-led state government would grant permission to the Congress for the march to move through the state.
