Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma on January 4 met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi.
Mizoram CM Meets S. Jaishankar In New Delhi
Confirming the meeting, the Mizoram CM said, “Delighted to strengthen our collaboration for the progress and development of Mizoram.” He added that his meeting with the Prime Minister was ‘productive’.
Lalduhoma on January 3 met External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar in New Delhi. Lalduhoma and S. Jaishankar are 1977 Indian civil services batchmates.
While the Mizoram CM had served in the Indian Police Service (IPS), S. Jaishankar was an Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer of the 1977 batch.
Both Lalduhoma and S. Jaishankar discussed ways to “enhance collaboration between Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and the Mizoram government”.
