The Congress party on December 23 underwent a major organisational reshuffle ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha Polls.
Sachin Pilot has been appointed as the All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary in-charge of Chhattisgarh while Avinash Pande replaced Priyanka Gandhi Vadra as the party in-charge of Uttar Pradesh. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is yet to receive any assignment portfolio.
AICC Undergoes Major Reshuffle
This was announced by the AICC leadership in a notice issued on December 23. A major organisational reshuffle was announced by the grand old party ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
Mukul Wasnik has been given charge of Gujarat, and Randeep Singh Surjewala has been appointed as in-charge of Karnataka.
Jairam Ramesh continues as AICC general secretary in-charge of communication and KC Venugopal will continue as general secretary in-charge of organisation.
Kumari Selja retained her post as the party general secretary and was moved from Chhattisgarh to Uttarakhand as her new state of assignment.
Dipak Babaria gets additional charge of Haryana; GA Mir gets additional charge of West Bengal and Deepa Dasmunshi gets additional charge of Telangana.
