Manipur: Winter Break For Eight Days Announced For Schools In Light Of Cold Weather And Festive Season

All the government and recognised private schools in Manipur will observe a winter break for eight days, according to an order issued by the Directorate of School Education, Government of Manipur.

A notification in this regard has been issued by the Director of School Education, L Nandakumar Singh on December 21 stated, “There will be holiday for all schools in Manipur from 23rd December 2023 till the 30th December, 2023 in view of the cold weather and upcoming festival and New Year.”

The decision comes in light of the prevailing cold weather condition in the region and the impending festive season leading up to the New Year.

This move is aimed at ensuring the well-being of students and staff during the cold weather and allowing them to welcome the New Year with their families.
