Temple Of Democracy Attacked: Gaurav Gogoi Slams Amit Shah Over Recent Parliament Security Breach

Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi on December 18 slammed Union Home Minister Amit Shah over the recent security breach at the Parliament.

Speaking to the media, Gaurav Gogoi said, “Union Home Minister Amit Shah is afraid of speaking inside Parliament and that is why he is commenting on it in media. It is a blot on the record of the Home Minister that under his watch this temple of democracy was attacked and he can’t avoid scrutiny forever.”

The Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) had demanded discussion on the Parliament security breach on December 18. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on December 18 adjourned the House shortly after it commenced, as ruckus ensued after the Opposition MPs sought a discussion on the incident on December 13.

Earlier, several Opposition members had submitted notices to the Speaker, seeking a discussion on the Parliament security breach incident.
