BJP Has Formed A Separate Ministry For Welfare Of Tribal Community: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister-Designate Vishnu Deo Sai
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister-designate Vishnu Deo Sai on December 10 said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has always respected the tribal community and been its well-wisher as he vowed to work for their betterment along with fulfilling all the party’s poll promises for the state.
Congress Only Treated Tribals As A Vote Bank: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister-Designate
While speaking to media persons, Vishnu Deo Sai said, “The BJP has always respected the tribal community. It is the BJP that has formed a separate ministry for the welfare of the tribals. The Congress only treated tribals as a vote bank.”
“Droupadi Murmu Ji, who comes from a tribal community, became the President under the BJP regime. A separate tribal development ministry was formed when the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government was in power. Vajpayee Ji was also the founder of Chhattisgarh,” he added.
Vishnu Deo Sai was picked by the BJP central leadership as the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh on December 10. The political veteran expressed gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and other senior BJP leaders for entrusting him with this responsibility.
