Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on December 8 said he is looking forward to working with his new Mizoram counterpart Lalduhoma for the growth of the Northeast region.
ZPM’s Lalduhoma Takes Oath As Mizoram CM
Lalduhoma was administered the oath of office by Mizoram Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati at the swearing-in ceremony on December 8. The swearing-in ceremony was held at the Raj Bhavan in Aizawl.
CM Sarma congratulated the Zoram People’s Movement (ZPM) leader on being sworn in as the Chief Minister of Mizoram. “Heartiest congratulations to Pu Lalduhoma on assuming office as the Chief Minister of Mizoram,” he wrote on platform X.
“Wishing you a successful stint in advancing the state’s development and looking forward to working with you to build a prosperous & harmonious Northeast,” he added.
