Most Exit Polls Put BJP Ahead In Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan

Most exit polls on November 30 put the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead in Madhya Pradesh and gave it an edge in Rajasthan. Most exit polls predicted an edge to the Congress in Chhattisgarh and Telangana.

In Madhya Pradesh, Dainik Bhaskar predicted 95-115 seats for the BJP and 105-120 for the Congress. India Today-Axis My India forecasted that the BJP will get 140 to 162 seats and the Congress 68-90.

In Rajasthan, India Today-Axis My India forecasted a tight race, predicting 86-106 seats for the Congress, 80-100 seats for the BJP and others 9-18.

Republic Matrize said the MNF would get 17-22, ZPM 7-12, Congress 7-10 and BJP 1-2, Times Now-ETG gave 14-18 seats to the MNF, 10-14 to the ZPM, 9-13 to the Congress and 0-2 to the BJP.

Terming exit polls about Telangana Assembly polls ‘rubbish’, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K. T. Rama Rao said that BRS will retain power. Soon after some exit polls gave an edge to the Congress, he told the media that BRS will win more than 70 seats in the 119-member Assembly to come to power for a third consecutive term.

“The real poll will come out on December 3. Those who are trying to confuse Telangana voters are in for a huge surprise. Exit polls are not new. I promise those who are fans of BRS and want KCR to come back and run the state that we will come back with 70 plus seats. Just wait and watch,” he added.
