The correction was done after tracking the Trans-Lagrangean Point 1 Insertion (TL1I) manoeuvre, the ISRO said.

“The Spacecraft is healthy and on its way to Sun-Earth L1. A Trajectory Correction Manoeuvre (TCM), originally provisioned, was performed on October 6, 2023, for about 16 seconds,” the space agency said in a tweet.

The Aditya-L1 mission, launched on September 2, is first Indian space based observatory to study the Sun. The spacecraft carries seven different payloads designed to study various aspects of the Sun.
