Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will inaugurate 90 infrastructure projects along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) on September 12, official information said.

The infrastructure projects that will be inaugurated are worth Rs 2,942 crore. As part of these 90 projects, roads, bridges, tunnels, and airfields have been built in 10 Border States and Union Territories by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO).
Rajnath Singh will inaugurate 22 roads, 63 bridges, Nechiphu Tunnel in Arunachal Pradesh, two airfields in Bengal and two helipads in a ceremony that will be organized by the BRO at Devak Bridge on Bishnah-Kaulpur-Phulpur Road in Jammu and Kashmir.
Reportedly, out of these projects, 11 have been constructed in Jammu and Kashmir, 26 in Ladakh, 36 in Arunachal Pradesh, 5 in Mizoram, 3 in Himachal Pradesh, 2 each in Sikkim, Uttarakhand and West Bengal and 1 each in Nagaland, Rajasthan and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
