President Murmu To Honour 75 Outstanding Teachers With National Teachers’ Award 2023 On September 5

President Droupadi Murmu will confer the National Teachers’ Award 2023 to 75 selected educators on September 5 at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.

Each National Teachers’ Award carries a certificate of merit, a cash award of Rs 50,000 and a silver medal. The awardees would also get an opportunity to interact with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Assam’s Kumud Kalita from Pathshala Senior Secondary School is among 75 selected educators who will be conferred with the National Teachers’ Award 2023.

Every year, India celebrates September 5, the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, as National Teachers’ Day.

The National Teachers’ Award aims to celebrate the unique contribution of teachers in the country and to honor those teachers who have not only improved the quality of education but also enriched the lives of their students through commitment and dedication.
