Manipur Burning: Mamata Banerjee Brands PM Modi As “Merchant Of Human Killings”

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on July 21 has slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi, branding him as “merchant of human killings” amid Manipur crisis.

The Chief Minister lashed out at Modi, saying that the Prime Minister has no love and sympathy for sisters and mothers.

“Till when daughters will be burnt, dalits, minorities will be killed, schedule caste or people will be killed? You are the merchant of human killings; you torture to kill human beings. We will not leave Manipur, Northeastern sisters are our sisters,” said the Chief Minister.

As many as four men have been arrested so far in connection with the heinous crime in violence-torn Manipur where two women were paraded naked and allegedly gang-raped.

The Manipur Police is making extensive efforts to arrest the remaining culprits as soon as possible, the state police force said.
