Jammu and Kashmir has moved from one level of violence when hundreds were killed, thousands were orphaned while an entire minority Kashmiri Pandit community was forced out of home.
Before Narendra Modi took over the reins of power, Kashmir looked like a lost land from India’s point of view. Education, businesses and normal activities remained hostage to shutdown calls by the separatists.
The Prime Minister seemed determined to change all that. Nearly all channels of terror funding have been destroyed by the security forces during the these nine years.
The impossible was done under the leadership of Modi in the last nine years. Further, Articles 370 and 35 A were repealed.
