On the Karnataka election campaign, Himanta Biswa Sarma said that DK Shivakumar is descended from Tipu Sultan.
In response, Shivakumar said that it is Congress’ blood that runs through Himanta Biswa Sarma’s blood, Gandhi’s blood, though he had altered it now.
”Himanta Biswa Sarma’s DNA is Congress DNA. He should know that his blood is Congress’ blood, Gandhi’s blood. Now he has changed his blood,” Shivakumar said.
Sarma replied, ”The blood coursing through my veins originates from my parents, my state, and my country, and I am exceedingly proud of this fact. I request dear DK Shivakumar ji to similarly take pride in his own blood, which flows from his parents, the sacred land of Karnataka, and Bharat Mata.”
Sarma added that if the Congress wins the election, they will turn the state into a PFI hub, which is now banned in the country.
