The Ministry of Home Affairs asked the Delhi Government to resubmit its annual budget. As per a statement released by the Ministry of Home Affairs, it requested the Delhi Government to resubmit the annual budget again.
Governor Of Delhi Raises Several Concerns
”The department received a copy of the budget document and the second and last batch of supplementary demands for the year 2022-23 for the previous sanction of the President for laying it before the legislative assembly,” mentioned the statement.
”The Lieutenant Governor of Delhi raised several concerns of administrative nature on the budget proposed by the Government of Delhi,” the statement added.
In the meantime, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal called this an attempt by the Bharatiya Janata Party-led central government. “Tomorrow, the Delhi government is presenting its budget before the Assembly. The Centre has stalled our budget this evening. The Delhi government employees, doctors and teachers won’t get their salaries tomorrow. It is hooliganism,” the Chief Minister stated at an event.
