The discovery of Assam University student’s body on Tuesday left the locality in shock. It is mentioned the deceased has been identified as Serching Tokbi of Karbi Anglong.

Notably, the body was discovered in his residence in Irongmara, Silchar. The student was pursuing Master’s in Science at the University.
Tokbi was discovered in an unconscious state inside his room. As per the inputs, after being taken to the hospital, the doctors declared him dead.
A case has been registered in this regard and the Police have begun their investigation process. Further details are awaited.
