The organisers of Women’s Premier League have decided to give out tickets for free to all the women and girls to attract more women towards this sport.
Preparations For Women’s Premier League Are In Full Swing
It is mentioned the first match of Women’s Premier League is scheduled to take place in DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai between Gujarat Giants and Mumbai Indians.
Women and girls do not need to pay for tickets, however, for men and boys, it is charged Rs 400 and Rs 100 per ticket. The title sponsor for the Women’s Premier League is the Tata Group. Several famous personalities are expected to perform in the opening event.
In this regard, Jay Shah, the Honorary Secretary of the BCCI, said, “I am delighted to announce the #TataGroup as the title sponsor of the inaugural #WPL. With their support, we’re confident that we can take women’s cricket to the next level.“
