Tali Gets Road Connectivity
Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu became the first Chief Minister to travel by road to Tali on February 25.
It needs to be mentioned the Chief Minister promised the locals during his last helicopter visit in 2017 that his subsequent visit would be by road.
“I’m honoured to have been present for this historic and significant event, which saw the Tali ADC headquarters finally connected to the road system. Even though it was founded in 1957, Tali’s administrative centre never had a road connection. We worked in mission mode to finish the 51-kilometer Yangte-Tali road as soon as possible,” the Chief Minister said.
